ਦੋ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਆਈਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ,
" ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਾਹਬ ਸਾਡੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਜਨੌਰ ਦਾ ਦੰਦ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ?
ਮੈਂ ਸਰਸਰੀ ਪੁੱਛ ਲਿਆ ,
" ਕਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ? "
ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ,
"ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਨੌਰ ਦਾ !!" #KamalDiKalam
ਮੈਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਤੇ ਜਨੌਰ ਕੀ ਫਰਕ ਹੈ
ਇੰਨੇ ਚਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਢਾਈ ਫੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ,
" ਜੋ ਇੰਨੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ........ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ "
ਮੈਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਦੰਮ ਕਿਹਾ ,
"ਸੂਰ ?"
ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਉਹੀ ......................
ਅਸਲ ਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵਹਿਮੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਨਫਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ
ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਵਹਿਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ
" ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਾਹਬ ਸਾਡੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਜਨੌਰ ਦਾ ਦੰਦ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ?
ਮੈਂ ਸਰਸਰੀ ਪੁੱਛ ਲਿਆ ,
" ਕਿਹੜੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ? "
ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ,
"ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਨੌਰ ਦਾ !!" #KamalDiKalam
ਮੈਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਤੇ ਜਨੌਰ ਕੀ ਫਰਕ ਹੈ
ਇੰਨੇ ਚਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਲੀ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਢਾਈ ਫੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ,
" ਜੋ ਇੰਨੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ........ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਚ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ "
ਮੈਂ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਦੰਮ ਕਿਹਾ ,
"ਸੂਰ ?"
ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਉਹੀ ......................
ਅਸਲ ਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵਹਿਮੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਨਫਰਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ
ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਵਹਿਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ
